“What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others” ~Pericles
My Legacy projects empower TLC volunteers to leave a mark in their communities and on their loved ones as they lead the way in meeting the needs of the people in our city and beyond.
Do you know that you have the ability to help change the world around you? Do you have a passion to help people but you don’t know where to start? Do you have a skill or a talent you’d like to share? Do you have a desire to leave a legacy? If so, we invite you to volunteer with us. There are many ways for you to get involved from tutoring to helping in the warehouse to joining our media team or jumping in on different projects. There are long term programs you can support or short term projects like our #TLCSandyRelief projects. We’ll help you define your legacy…all you have to do is show up!
SUPPORT A PROJECT – VOLUNTEER
The Legacy Center would not be the success it is without the tireless efforts of its volunteers. TLC’s volunteers are leaving a mark that is unmatched. If you’d like to work with us then sign up to volunteer.
Note: Before being approved to work on our ongoing programs volunteers must first attend an orientation meeting. It is important for all of our volunteers to have a clear understanding of what we do (and don’t do), how we do it, and how you can help before going out to serve.
SAVE THE DATE: The next group orientation and breakfast meeting will be held on January 5th. Registration coming soon!
SPONSOR A PROJECT – DONATE
My Legacy projects are not just for volunteers, My Legacy project includes anyone who helps us meet the need. When you make a donation you are creating a legacy, you’re leaving a mark on a community that needs support. You are invited to join us in changing the community by making a contribution today.
