“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
At TLC we know that education is critical if we want to change our community. To that end we host and facilitate Educational Think Tanks. During think tank sessions educators connect to collaboratively create programs designed to solve issues for the local community and schools.
TLC’s educational team provides targeted programs for students based on their current grade. Educational opportunities include a Summer Enrichment program, Test Prep sessions, mentoring during the transition from Middle School to High School and College Prep opportunities (e.g. college tours, volunteer opportunities, resume development for college applications, financial aid training etc.).
For parents, we offer workshops and training; equipping parents with the tools they will need to help their children succeed. Our goal is to provide the necessary resources students will need to go from elementary to college.
